Your Personals website Profile

A Personals profile is to give information about yourself and what you are looking for. At the same time it is important that you protect yourself from scammers and thieves.
It is considered safe to give your first name, age (OK, you know you are going to fudge it!), location, etc. But leave off more specific things such as last name, phone number, where you work that can be used against you. You can decide later whether to exchange that information with people you meet on-line.
A few years ago there was a couple who had listed enough information for thieves to determine where their house was. They also listed they would be attending a swingers party on a Saturday night. Thieves broke into the house and stole most things of value. They were only caught much later on when another couple’s house was broken into but they had remained home because one was sick.
Also be aware when placing photos that car license tags that appear, mailbox numbers, etc. can give away where you live. It is a simple process to load the photos in MS Paint or another program and erase or blur that portion of the picture.
For communicating outside of the website’s message system, it is advisable to get a seperate email address. Yahoo, gmail and others offer free e-mail accounts that can be used.
While it is good and safe practice to not offer too much personal information it is also important to be honest in your personals profile. It all comes out eventually. If you state your cock is 12 inches and when your pants come off it is too small to be measured, you may be thrown out without your pants. Stating your age as 35 when you get offered the Senior menu at Bob Evans just will not work. Be honest. People are more excite when they meet someone who is what they claim.
